Yeah in for a service and brake fluid change... i'll be there for opening too, sweet! we may as well go and grab some breakfast if you fancy it? :)

Yes mate, sounds good. IKEA breakfast is cheap and pretty good as they go. Plus only around the corner to AmD. :)

I'm going for stage 2 on Saturday morning too, so I'll see you there! Would be good to see your car Tom. Hope its ok to have a snout about? :p

Haha, an LCR takeover I see. Sounds good! You'll love the stage 2, just give it a few days to adapt and the car will need to smoothen itself out with a good few cold starts and more miles.

No probs at all to have a nose about...My car needs a clean though! It's not upto standards for people to have a nose around, lol.

Haha, dont worry about cleanliness, sure mine will be filthy after the drive! There wasn't any lcrs last time I went, so its good to see we are bring up the numbers :p Looking forward to it.

I can recommend Ikeas breakfasts, had one last time, and for the silly cheap price they are, they were actually very nice! Didn't think so much of the shop though, did the whole thing in about 10 mins!

Where are you driving up from George? Also what colour is your LCR so I can keep an eye out for it? Should be good to have a mini gathering.

Haha, I only go there for the breakfasts :p Can't remember the last time I actually looked around the place!

Its not that bad, about 80 miles from memory. Means it will have adapted a fair bit by the time I get home :p

Most of mine is in good condition, just needs a good mopping to get rid of a few marks, but I just can't bring myself to do it! :p

Certainly will help having a longer drive home :) Good stuff.

Haha, I got mine detailed last year and it was one of the best things I did. Swirl marks bye bye!

I'm off to AmD this Saturday to get the following done:

-Neuspeed front arb fitted.
-Decat spacer fitted (to stop fault code, although it causes no issue to the running of the car it bugs me ;) )
-Passenger side engine mount looks as though it's moved so this is being re-aligned.

I don't have the facility to do the above so easier to get AmD to sort them all for me.

After it's done, I will be taking the car for a very spirited drive either Saturday night or Sunday :D

Really love driving it lately, the difference with the new FMIC and the new N75 is night and day. Pulls so hard and it's so much more responsive. I also believe the Airtec FMIC is more airtight than the TX was at all the joins. Now and then I'd get a boost leak code come up on the car with the TX and I'd tighten everything up that bit more and clear the code. Since the Airtec I've had nothing. I also forgot how big the cooler was, so should certainly be a capable car once this is done.

Track time next year is 100% on the cards. Aiming for Brands Hatch to start with and go from there.

Clutch and fully Superpro bushing is getting done once I'm back from holiday around September time. After this Saturday the spending stops completely on the car and I'll be enjoying it until those 2 bigger jobs are done.

LSD is coming when the time is right ;)

I did a novice track session at brands a few weeks ago mate. Car power wise performed really well, but it also highlighted a few weaknesses that I need to address. I did a novice taster session for 25 quid for 20 mins and that was with full briefing and open pit. May not sound very long but on the Indy circuit it seemed like forever and was greY for a novice like me. Highly recommended.

Good stuff mate. What were the weaknesses did you find? The handling areas? Are you going to go and uprate these areas and then go back for another trackday?

I'll be on Brands next year 100%, will have to give you a shout when and a few of us can pop along!

Yeah mate handling wad a major issue. Need the bushes doing and decent coilovers. Also the tx struggled in track conditions as the charge temps and why temps got very high.

Yep I plan to get these issues sorted and do a full open track day. I'll be very interested if you guys do one.
