no test drives, just snooping around the garages and autotrader looking at cars, been looking at loads of different options, Clio 197's & 200's, Citroen DS3's, the new Subaru Impreza WRX, Astra & Corsa VXR's, Fiesta Zetec S's, Skoda Fabia VRS's, Ibiza Cupra's / Bocanegra's, Mini Cooper S's, All sorts really, but think it is ultimately between the Subaru, the Clio and the Cupra

There lotsa choice out there. Ever fancied the mk7 Fiesta ST(when it comes out, hopefully end of the year)
1.6 Turbo approx 180bhp will have brilliant handling too knowing ford. The Zetec S mk7 was a monster in the bends even standard.
I was looking forward to it, but the cupra got me with its trick gearbox, more power, cheaper to run and the fact it was avalible when i was looking lol

Yeh was asking about the ST but no one could give me a definite release date/month so kinda just put it to the back of my mind, still thinking the cupra or Bocanegra is the best choice, especially for insurance and price of the car

i would advise caution on the cupra/boca's i keep reading of all the horror stories with those engines, i know it doesnt effect them all but they do seem to be made of cheese
Lol she wants a new car more than me and yeh Phil I know it is abit off putting, but I there is nothing else that is that good on insurance, I'm also thinking of waiting till January when I'm 21 so hopefully insurance will be less

You thought about buying and older car ( so cheaper ticket price and pay more for the insurance) opens you up to the works if things like scirocco's, golf gti, Volvo c30 t5, focus st's, ok running costs will be higher on virtually all of those but you get the point lol

Yeh looked at a few different cars, but I've said I don't really want a car older than what I have now (2007 plate) so I've looked at mini cooper S's and sirocco's from around that time
