Well that was tougher than i thought!!
Mines in and i'd say it's "ok" - nothing special or dazzling just probably good for the money imo!
Not sure i like the Igo primo nav (no Postcode search facility!), had a few install issues that meant it took longer than it might otherwise have needed too, Oh and no battery for the remote (luckily i had the right one upstairs as i have spares for 3D glasses!)
Took me a while to figure out
HOW to fit the aerial adaption thingy (you'll know what i mean when you see it!), Had to cut out some placcy to get the unit to fit (seller kindly sent me a photo of WHERE to trim), Then had issues with ERROR messages coming up on dash when i powered it up after connecting the battery again, then a stupid "safe driving" thing that kept popping up as soon as i moved anywhere!!
Jury's out with me atm on this one! It looks smart as it looks O.e fitment, it has some good features for the price too! Think i just need to give it more time for me to get used to it!!
Haven't connected up Blutooth mic as i can't see me using it tbh as i NEVER answer my phone when driving.
Bubba - you asked for the remote hack to swap the boot logo over - try this!
1) Stereo in stand by,
2) Ignition key in 1st pos (no dash lights),
3) Use remote to power up unit,
4)Power down unit via remote,
5) Press 0 (zero) 4 times then press enter (unit should "beep" twice at you), you should then see a Factory settings menu come up.
6) Go down to setting 13 (arrow keys on remote),
7) press right arrow key on remote (you should see a page with differing logos come up),
8) scroll across to the next page using touch screen and you should see the SEAT logo,
9) Tap on the seat logo,
10) Press OPEN on remote to save (unit should go back to facotry settings screen),
Can't remember after that, but try pressing open again and then power it down on remote and power back up (seat logo should be there on start up if done correct)
P.s - seller did advise that tomtom6 will work with this unit too! (maybe i'm making a mountain out of a mole-hill over the whole no postcode search thing, but i did/do like it!)
