Yeah - for the money the unit is packed with features i'll openly admit that one, yes some of the screens could be better/nicer to look at imo (the ipod screen is just a bit "bland"), & Ok i do agree that me saying DON'T buy the unit just yet because of the Nav update issue may seem a little extreme, but if by waiting a little longer folks can get hold of this unit with a nav programme that CAN be kept up to date - then that's gotta be good advice hasn't it!!
I shall keep tapping the ebay seller up every so often to see if anything comes of the possible tomtom move, and may try switching to that if it bears fruit, but at the same time i except that a "reasonably" upto date nav will usually get you where you want to go trouble free!! if in the mean time we could source reliable updates for the Igo nav then i may well stick with it, but if this proves fruitless then it's inevitable that i'll move on to a nav app than can be kept upto date should one become available!
for it's O.E.M look and feautres it's great, but when one of the more important apps is semi hampered by lack of necessary support!?, Gotta give you a moment of pause hasn't it!
