So, I've finally got round to getting some photos of my last attempt at a trackday sorted out.
This time I took my rear interior out but struggled as one of the bolts had been rounded off so a helpful neighbour came round and gave me this which worked a treat!

Was quite a range of motors there that day and as you can see the weather was pretty pump to say the least.

The guy who organised it was going to track this beast, 1947 Bentley!

It finally got called off so we started packing up, typically look at the difference in the weather 20 minutes after it was cancelled! Raging!!

As I've said before, it just wasn’t meant to be and at least I've now got a free trackday in the bag for next Spring!

Well, I got alarmed by my dog going mental in the back garden today so I went outside to see him barking at this.....

Stupid dog, he had a ball whilst I unwrapped it and then he played with the bubble wrap for about an hour.

Didn't have much time for fitting so didn't even jack the car up. Just drove it up onto a kerb, attached it with some 'black nasty' then drilled and fitted it!

I'm really happy with how the splitter looks, I've even managed to get around everywhere without having any clearance issues!

Fancy trying to get a trackday done as a group at some point at an agreed spot? I know Graeme Bigg (weeg) is keen as is Mikey and I, maybe others too. For sure its probably too late this year, but maybe in spring?

Mate, I would be all over that idea! In fact, lets just make it happen. Is there anywhere in between us all that we could RV at the night before, have some boozes then race the next day????

I'm in Lincoln buddy! Pretty spoilt here actually as I've got Donnington and Cadwell Park both within an hour of me!

This has the makings of a good plan I feel!

That is the only problem isn't it buddy, the sheer distance between everyone.

To be honest the halfway point between us is probably around the England/Scotland border.

It lists quite a few of the UK's racetracks none of which are really near to the border. Have a look and see what you think, I know it's South of the border but Croft looks like it could be a good laugh!
