You want to see mine then!! Have it on every single window. Used 8 beech towels mopping water up the other day. Looked at my door seals and they aren't the best. Maybe yours are on their way out too?

The neighbours am laughin at me...The dude in his old rover just got in his un condensed car, wished me happy new year whilst im moping out the water:cry:
:censored: Vag am rubbish,im gettin rid..

I have noticed recently that the rear screen has bad condensation ? Rear carpets are dry and I cannot find any damp anywhere else ?

Anyone have any suggestions ?

Thanks

Ive got condensation on the plastic around the glass surround,Think spoiler needs looking at
Ive taken the rear view mirror off because I can never see out it

I think this is a common problem on these cars due to poor seals... All my carpets are dry however still get it in rear window.. I would suggest ensuring all vents are closed and checking seals

i had the same for weeks until last weeks heavy downpour where the water UNDER the carpet got high enough to be seen , the door seals go and the water leaks under the plastic trim leaving the carpets dry until its too late , i got 6 litres of water out of the drivers side of my car, try lifting the carpet to see

Don't be so defeated !! I had mould on the seats , stearing wheel , dash, head lining, plus all the water. Spent 5 hours cleaning it all out and still not finished.

Once I fixed my door seals I hoovered the carpets then left my car running with the heater on full and at the floor for two twelve hour shifts while at my work. Never had any bother since.

I wanna add that i have had my LCR now coming up for 7 years, and although occasionally i DO get dampness on the carpets (strange how some nights can be MEGA downpour and yet the carpets stay dry, other times not so dry) but in the last few months i have been having the same as the OP.

My rear washer jet admittidly hasnt worked for approx 4 years, but its got to the stage now where if its a dry day i HAVE TO leave all windows open around a cm just to air the car out. It DOES work but the rear screen will completely soak any rag if you choose to wipe the rear window.

Just to add in early November i had ice on the inside of the windscreen, and this has neve happened before.

I asked Alex at AKS Tuning about changing all the seals on the car and to quote me happy but he hasnt got back to me. Im 100% sure this is the next modification that will have to be done.....i mean its ridiculous.

My back windscreen washer hose had blown off in the boot and that pissed water everywhere in the boot but since you say yours is working that cant be it. These cars always seem to be damp, I redid my door seals last year and they are fine, no wet carpets or nothing but the windows always gum up and its just generally a bit damp. It's fine in the summer but its a pain in the arse at this time of year.

If its really bad I would check your door seals or as you say the spoiler attachment, might be coming in there. I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't see anything though, like I said these cars just seem to like being damp lol.
