Which Short shifter? Ebay or Forge?

Couldn't you keep the ebay one set it to normal and gradually make it shorter so your partner gets used to it?

Edit: Because the Forge instructions mention adjusting the end-link, and locking the gear lever into place inside the car, is this necessary?

Just ordered the ebay one just hope it fits ok as just read (after ordering) that it is for cars upto 07 and mine a 58 fongers crossed...

When I had my Leon I had the short shifter from eBay.
Got to say one of my favourite mods on the car! I'm thinking of buying one for my curret car because I miss it lol.

Can't go wrong for £40

I just have the shifter but I'm wanting to get the bushes, just ain't got round to getting them yet

Do the bushes just make it a bit smoother? I.e by fitting just the short shifter alone, will the gear changes stay as smooth/rough as the standard shifter but it will just be shorter?
