Im struggling to test it though with lots of clutch slip and ice, plus i cant set the warning level, red light comes on at 0.9bar

Was curious as my last FR running stage 2 Revo peaked at 23 psi so 1.6 bar.
I should have mine fitted next week and didn't know what to expect as APR say they run less boost than Revo.
This being a k04 car running stage 2 software I'd expect similar or a bit more.

On vagcom when we were logging on mine the otherdays it peaked at 27 psi on the settings

Are you going to use it on a track to get the benefit from it? Unless you drive like a maniac on the road you wont see much in the way of benefit.

I also leave/go to early at 5:30am ie no traffic, the world is my playground

I've got a trackday at Rockingham to use up, also hoping to get some tuition from a current WTCC driver soon

Good stuff. Having had a diff in 2 MK2's I can honestly say they are great when really pushing on like a looney tune on sharp/fast bends. 99% of the time on the road, you wont get the benefit and you will definitely need to learn to adapt to driving in the wet.

Will it help with traction on launches at all?

If i had to pay full price for it i wouldn't of bothered but seing as it was cheap and my Clutch/Flywheel has got to come out ASAP i thought why not

Yeah you need to adapt. Launching - i got 13 dead with standard diff and have still to beat it with the LSD although i think the Southbend kit is stopping that as fast changes are hard with it fitted.

Southbend Stage2 kit (like yours)
Quaife LSD
Forge Quickshifters (F-B and side to side)
42DD Bushes
AKS Tuning metal gearbox mounts

i found the Southbend kit great in my FR TDI apart from the noise

I reckon a 12.8 quarter is there if the gear changes weren't limited by the clutch kit.

I also find that the SMF is a tit to change gear at high revs! 1st-2nd not too bad. 2nd-3rd is a total C@#t! Noisy piece of crap too!

Ive driven a few TDI's with "Normal SMF" in them , then i decided to buy the Southbend Silent kit which isnt silent lol

When we took it out though there was a few things, place that fitted it for me failed to refit 3 bolts to something (cant remember what) and the clutch wasn't bedded in yet

so fingers crossed this time, although im aware of Al's problems
