Because i have have the APR HPFP they also flashed APR Stage1+ on which gives me more mid range power, Changed the Cam follower while i was there aswell

Rolling Road tomorrow night!

Your getting sorted now Andrew.
I ordered a APR pump from Awesome last week because APR wouldn't sell to me direct which is disappointing.
Then my APR pump arrived on Saturday and I was even more disappointed as the top sensor was facing the total wrong direction and fouled the coolant pipe etc so it's on it's way back.
Even more annoying I've had to pay another £10 to ship it back and wait again on another and hope the next one is assembled correctly.

All ready for stage2+ now just need to get downpipe fitted and RS4 valve

Stage1+ is better than Stage1 can feel the difference

Whats happend to the original pump? it is still working good?
And what do these boost tap i cant figure it out
Thanks :)

APR keep the original one

Boost tap is to attach a vacuum pipe to for a Boost Gauge. Boost gauge will be fitted soon

Finally had the car on APR/Volkswagen Racing's Dyno tonight, its a MAHA Dyno used to calibrate the VW Racing Cup cars

Current Spec:
APR Stage1+ (The + is to take into consideration the HPFP)
APR HPFP
Neuspeed P-Flo

Here's the graph
ScannedDocument.jpg

Now the Wheel Horsepower is very low so i put the question to Keith @ APR why? his response was
It's a MAHA and we see anywhere from 70-120 on these platform cars depending on wheel/tyre combo, strap tension, tire pressure, etc but the calculated bhp is always the same regardless of the difference in whp and bhp.

We calibrate for vwr cup race teams and they have to certify their power at other dynos and even though the other dyno reads whp higher and losses less, the bhp is always the same as ours.

I would say the explanation for such results at stage 1+ is that turbo cars love the cold weather.

Also to explain the spike at the start of the graph
It's the load being applied by the dyno during spool. It typically won't happen on the road.

Hopefully on the 22nd i will have my 3" downpipe + 100cel sports car fitted so i can have Stage2+ flashed then

Been to see Alex @ AKS Tuning today for the rest of the Stage2+ hardware to be fitted

First thing was a H&R Rear-Anti Roll Bar (Front one is to be fitted at a later date)

Notice how bad the OEM exhaust looks after nearly 3 years

Next up was my Ebay special downpipe, 3" with 100cel sports cat, I took it to Alex and he has rewelded it and fitted a bigger and better flexi hose

Alex then fitted an AUDI RS4 Pressure Regulating Valve which allows more pressure than the OEM valve

And finally Boost Gauge and Pillar Pod

Now my plan was to drive straight to APR tonight and get them to flash the Stage2+ tune, but my clutch is slipping really badly now so im now going to flash any more tune until ive got gearbox sorted out

Next up:
Southbend stage2 SMF & organic clutch
Quaife LSD
H&R Front ARB
AKS Tuning metal gearbox mounts

Great!
Looks cool without the rear wiper.

Yellow and Black stands good together ;)

P0420 Emission Code came up this morning on the way back from work, basically the 100cel sports cat is flowing to much and ECU doesn't like it

The Stage2+ map would sort this issue but the extra power would make the car completely un driveable due to clutch slipping on stage1+ so gonna have to put up with clearning the light every few days for a month or so

Why did you not get the testpipes file loaded?????
This seems to be extremely common with APR.
Lets face it all their maps should be testpipes, it would make more sense.
