Hey,

So I'm not sure this is just me, or everyone, can't seem to find much on it.

When making outgoing calls via bluetooth, it makes the ringing sound, which is fine. However when they are incoming, it's just silent and displays a message on the display. Unless I have the radio on, or phone on loud then I only notice I'm being rung. But yesterday I missed a pretty important call because the radio was off, my phone was on silent and I never looked at the display.

Is this just me? Because if it's like that for everyone, it seems to be a pretty lame design do you not think...

My one rings whenever i get an incoming call, always pretty damn loud too. So although this doesn't help you, have you checked that your phone is not on silent? Don't know if that would make a difference, it shouldn't do really. what phone are you connecting?

even if phone is on silent the bluetooth unit makes a noise (even if stereo off) , it's the same noise it makes if it cannot play the ringtone you have on your phone. does this in the leon and the Passat.

check your bluetooth settings on your phone

SEAT BT will act as your bluetooth headset, so if you have it set to 'auto answer after X seconds' on the phone then when connected to the car it will auto answer

if you have the auto -answer setting to a too short a time frame, then it might not ring....especially if its set to auto answer afet 1 second!!

Ok there is literally no settings. It says use phone as audio, if I turn that off it disconnects.

No idea, doesn't look like it's something that can be fixed tbh!

there will be a setting.

I have a Galaxy S3, there will be a setting on your phone, it'll either be in the paired device settings or the call setting.

I know it can be frustrating as somethimes what you want is buried in a sub menu of something else
