Lcr honey cone grill

Does any body no any wer to get they grills next to the lights in honey cone like the bottom ones on my LCR

Get them off a better looking cupra / fr as they are standard

The 2005 fr ones like mine are an anthracite colour as are the lower grilles, the older cupra's might be black but thats just me guessing

no they were all that anthracite colour, most people (including me lol) spray them matt black

I just assumed it was an fr thing as they have other silver touches (mirrors / dash vents, etc) my bad

You need to buy the LC grill cut the honeycomb bits off, take the bumper off the LCR, cut the slat grills off and stick the honeycomb in place and refit the bumper. Pics in my RR if you want to take a look.

Cheers mate do the 2 side ones straight fit from the lc

Yes, but they come as part of a larger piece that won't fit, that's why you need to cut them off. I'll put some pics up later when I'm in the house

and cut these off the LCR:

Stick it all together:

How did u do the bottom grill too so the back bit off the number plate bit gone

Started with two grills:

Chopped the top bits off one and fibre glassed them in place on the other:

Cut a piece of the lower grill to fit in the gap then filler and glued bits:

Pic of how the honeycomb matches up:

The upper centre grill is a home made job, order some honeycomb off ebay and cut the slats out.
