Seen some post awhile ago where people bypass the inlet manifold breather pipe out of the pvc system for smoother boost and better running there was a link on how to do it but cant find it . Annyone please ? 1.8t auq engine

Not quite it wasent removing the pvc it was just taking that breather hose out of the bottom or the inlet manifold out of the pvc then bloking the pipe into the pvc

I have done a PCV simplification and am very happy with the results. A lot of goo and gunk stays out of my engine, all for the better.

In short:
From oil filter housing (90 degree turn) straight to the Y pipe which connects to the rocker cover. The Y pipe is connected to another long piece of hose which ends under the car next to the exhaust.

My MOT is due, I will connect the original system again and will remove it again after testing

Very hard to understand that do you have any pics at all i just bought the 2 pvc pipes the y branch looking one that comes off crank casing and the lower pipe that comes off of it

This is my engine bay as we speak

-Check the connection from the rockercover. You will see a clear braided hose connected to the blue silicone Y hose
-The clear braided hose goes directly on the 90 degree black plastic neck which sits on your oil filter housing.
-The blue silicone Y hose is extended with another long piece of braided hose, which sits underneath my car
-Removed the hockey puck (plugged the hole in TIP)
-Removed the PCV valve (plugged the hole on inletmanifold (piece of hose with bolt and jubilee clips)

[edit]
Old bay pic. Check the top right corner, you will see the clear hose connected to the Y pipe

I dont know for sure. They perform a "4 gass test" where your exhaust gases need to comply with certain standards. I believe you will fail this test without the PCV system, but Im not 100% sure.

I will check with my fellow tuners in the NL
