are they a one piece unit? if people are cutting them off im assuming its a hard job to fit the thing? i have an lc180 btw

No, just no.

Whats actually up with your OP? Replacement stock eggsauces do seem t cost a small fortune. I could never work out why.

maybe a dumb question but what is OP?

thanks for all replies i will try and source a part and get it fitted. id prefer a genuine one as i would just get a piece of pipe a weld extension to length of car if i wanted this annoying low rpm hum!!!

I had exactly this problem when looking for a back box last month. The simple answer is that it is a dealer only part. I tried all the fast fit type places and they all said the same. I tried Online Automotive and although there is a part listed it does not fit. I know because I went to Online Automotive in Northampton to have it fitted and when they came to do it they said it was a different part. Mine is a 2003 facelift 1.8t AUQ that still had the original backbox on. In the end I bought a stainless cat back system as it was cheaper then an OEM backbox from Seat.

i had thought that myself as a friend of mine got a stainless catback for £230 (custom made). gotta make some descisions, not nice ones haha.

would do full system if i could keep the car but insurance has gone up over £700 so i cant afford to run my baby beastie

Wow £700 that makes me wince. Mine is £250 but I am an old fart at 33...

Holy cow £2200?! I feel sorry for you young un's I really do.
