Just removing the silencer box fromt he standard system creates this sound? I might sell my LOUD custom job and just put the standard back on with box removed?

Had this done last week for 40 notes not that loud but is a great improvement over the standard no noise setup! Worth the money!

It really has actually i've been nailing it this weekend on the roads at loch awe and it just gets louder haha had it pop on the limiter too ! haha

no. has no effect on emissions.

The only thing they could ever say is the noise they can fail on excessive noise but they must have a same car standard on site to be able to do it , won't ever happen just worst case.

As ayacoub92 said emissions won't be affected as it's purely to reduce noise

Would you have to declare this with insurance? Because technically there is no gains? except the smile on your face from the sound a suppose.

You should as its still a modification from the standard exhaust but its up to you.

Could someone give me a rough estimate on how much to remove centre silencer, and weld pipe in place.

Had a garage quote me £150, seems a bit steep...

scratch that mate, just realised you've got a red cupra, it was a boc i passed.

Have a look at my video at the top of the page. Thats what it sounds like with just the centre box removed.
