Hello all,
Having a problem with my remote fob - a few days ago it suddenly stopped working, although the little red light still activates. The night before it worked fine and from many metres away.
I've changed the battery, makes no difference.
I've tried the re-sync'ing procedure in the manual, which states:
1) Unlock car from driver side door using non-remote key
2) Turn IGN on using non-remote key
3) Lock car via driver side door using remote fob (but not remotely, of course)
WITHIN 30 SECS:
4) Operate LOCK button once on remote fob, indicators will flash (THIS DOES HAPPEN, so remote works and so does car receiver)
5) Operate UNLOCK button once for more than 2 secs, vehicle will unlock confirming sync.
It's that last bit that doesn't work. Nothing happens when I press & hold the UNLOCK button. I've tried 2+ secs, press/release, 10+ secs hold, everything!
Anyone got any ideas? Perhaps it's just the UNLOCK button that's not working, but buttons rarely go from 100% fine to totally broken like that?
Cheers,
Richard.
