Get out there and sort it mate!! You'll love it.
I'm still tempted to put one on my CR170...despite it being next to useless

I put an intake cone on my pd170 and it sounded naff. Does the p-flow sound different to a normal cone?

Haha cheers mate. I'm no mechanic, that's what's putting me off lol! It a hard job for your average joe? My handiwork is completely AVERAGE lol!!

honestly mate, it took me circa 20 minutes to fit mine. if you have no idea how to open the car bonnet, id still give it a bash and expect to take no more than an hour. just dont drop anything down the turbo when the pipes off!

small set of waterpump pliers to get the clips off - easiest way imo! and then go drive it! LOTS!
Windows up, radio off, throttle ON!

Oh, Also! try a full throttle and then release and quickly tap the pedal to get the chatter when going around.
or, very light throttle at low rpm.

Quick trip to Halfrauds on day off :)

Leaving tweeters stock for now, cba fitting crossover and taking doorcard off

What make are they mate. How much we're they? Better than standard? Sorry for all the questions but I need an upgrade.

Yeah theyre definately a step up from standard, I had to fit the crossover in the end, they sounded daft without it.

I spliced into the loom adaptor so they can go back to stock in future if needs be, iv disconnected the front tweeters too, but both back doors are still stock. Its a nice balance now, just need to play with front/rear fade to get the desired sound

Oh, and i rear ended someone on the way to pick my gf up from work too :-( cracked bumper and smashed lower grille, but bent the towbar on the other guys focus

Shnazzle, Tonto, the noise is ridiculous. I freakin love it! Was out for a good few hours last night playing about, the chatter is pretty cool. Going through the gears at full throttle, changing up at 4k revs sounds awesome :D

Fitting was easy too. A few fiddly moments with my big shovel hands but all good apart from that!

TimJohnson, I was the same mate, couldn't decide what to do first. I'm going Induction, decat and then a map. Then ill sort the suspension out. Then I'll go for full exhaust, HPFP and intercooler and stage 2+. Oh and a clutch and flywheel upgrade.

Couldn't be happier with Awesome GTI though, really helpful and quick delivery.
