Walked outside yesterday to find a huge puddle of what seems to be engine coolant on the road. Checked under the bonnet and can see no signs that anything is leaking from up there, noticed the coolant bottle was bare empty. Jacked her up to have a look and see if I could spot anything but I couldn't get a good look due to been lay upside down with..well no room to manuever. It seems to be coming from the passenger side down onto the tray then dripping onto the road. Today I filled her full of coolant and vwalla no dripping, turned it on let it head up to 90 on the dials turned it off. Drip drip drip literally 2 seconds after turning off I have this on the road

thinking its just a perished pipe which should be an easy fix (fingers crossed) but is there anything around that area that usually gives way or a weak point which may be in need of replacing?

Cheers lads

Have a look at the corner of the Radiator, That's where they seem to go.
Every Mk4 golf Ive seen goes there as well.

you should see the dried coolant crystals build up down the side of the rad if that's where the leak is.

It's coming from much further back than the radiator mate. (Not arguing it could be there) it's dripping inline with the passenger side wheel :/ il go out and investigate some more now

check the black plastic pipe bolted to the right hand side of the engine has a sensor plugged into the top of it, it could be cracked..

Could also be a leaking water pump, mine was leaking and I would lose all the fluid in the resesvoir in a day. I know it's on the other side but could be gathering on the undertray and dripping out on that side.
