Don't think so. But whats AGU on your engine? Because your intake looks smaller than mine, the head looks like a AUQ/AMK/BAM. You've got a breather from the n249/n112 section... (hose between the 2 last intake tubes)

Maybe your DV causing problems. Its still the original I see.

Engine code on the little tab says agu, dv and all the pipes around it look brand new also, my tuner says its the large bore intake so i'm assuming that its the standard one for the car?

Well if your tuner say its a big port it should be true. Hard to see from the photo's to be honnest.

The loose connector to the right of the FPR is for the VVT solinoid.
Theres also a bolt missing on no3 intake

Aah right thanks for that mate. Done a bit of a search and a just assumed that the n249 was part of the plastic thing on top of the engine but now I understand it's actually underneath the manifold so is probably actually still there. Which would probably explain why no faults have come up for it.

The bolt missing on the inlet mani is not a good sign, was the head change done with diligence?
If they didn’t sort that out, what else did they not sort?

To Be honest mate the engine/head swap looks like a complete bag of ****, 2 bolts broke on the inlet manifold, and we thought the coil on number 4 was the wrong one however upon having a look its the right one but some p rick decided that the spark plug wasn't going in right so just left it like that :censored: anyway a productive day was had and after a lot of playing around with stuff we started low and worked from there, and last pull of the day it was 196bhp but i would immagine when the engine is not so hot it would be slightly more, anyway it drives so much better now and is just smooth power right through and spins the tyres in third gear in the wet.
Also not sure how accurate the fuel computers are but it has gone up from around 22mpd to 31 on the display.

How can you tell the difference mate?

AGU head is always large port as we all know, the way you can see its a small port inlet is the size of the runners they are smaller, AGU look much larger. Il try to post pics up of comparison later bud.

Cool thanks mate , so is the standard 180 leon a small port manifold? another thing is my tuner thinks it may only have a k03 and not k03s fitted as it didn't seem to like when we tried lots of boost so kept having to turn it down.

As far as i know LC & LCR's are small port, sounds silly if it has K03 turbo on there rather than KO3s tbh - Can you take any pics of how the TIP attaches to the turbo/pipe? Im guessing the previous person just plonked the AGU lump without thinking into anything else. Again il try get pics of turbo comparisons in appearance bud.

Ooh thanks mate that helps a lot and looking at it it seems i do have the ko3s as it has the big end on it so we are going the right way here

so it seems i have the right turbo, wrong head, right manifold and injectors so all in all should work ok, i'm wondering if there is a boost leak though as it does whistle quite loudly and much worse now its mapped so maybe thats holding it back now?
