Mine are called spoilers too.
Rainworth were excellent. Had a call to say that they couldn't get them from their usual suppliers at the price quoted and they would source them elsewhere and I would receive them by overnight courier. How good is that? Kudos

I decided to take the plunge because I was getting a lot of muck up the front door and onto the rear bumper. Let's hope this works.

The fixing kit is clear and needs a short Torx 25 (from memory) to avoid removing the wheels at the rear. The only drilling is into the plastic liner at the front

Managed to negotiate Front and Rear flaps as a deal sweetener at time of purchase- it always pays to get a deal that costs the dealer less to supply than it would cost you to pay for later. see dealers message below.

Interesting info from the AUDI A3 current accessories brochure:-

Mud flaps. Protects the underbody, bumpers and rear of the A3 from severe dirt and stone impacts.
Also reduces spray water*

So Seat mudflaps are 35% dearer than Audi mudflaps - obviously a superior product!!!!!!

Those of you who had their mudflaps fitted by the dealer, is there any sign they used adhesive tape or similar to keep the mudflaps tight to the body work? I can't seem to get a completely close fit on my FR and its allowing dirt to get between the plastic and bodywork.

I have not got my car yet, but I do know that the rear flaps for the FR are different spec to SE - have you got the right rear flaps?

Yeah got the correct rears (part no. 5F0075101B), SE flaps wouldn't fit at all.

They're ok at the bottom but at the top (where there is least plastic) they won't sit completely tight to the bodywork. I'll try warming them up with a hairdryer and readjusting them this weekend (if it ever stops raining) but just wondered whether SEAT dealers fix them with tape. I know for instance BMW mudflaps which are similar use tape as well as screws.

Yes BMW use tape and no SEAT don't! At least not on my SE . They were fitted by a bodyshop (long story) but are a very close fit.

fitted mine last week rear ones are excellent fit but the front ones leave a slight gap between bodywork and flap but i have not fitted the lower 9.5 rubber bush and screw as this does pull flap away from bodywork.as for double sided tape i fitted them to my vauxhall which had tape + screws but the tape does not last due to water but if you want to tape them go on ebay and purchase mamouth tape does not come stronger than this

Just noticed today that SEAT have released a new price list (dated Feb 2014) and the mudflaps are £79 fitted for a pair! So for front and rears I'm looking at £158
Have SEAT put the prices up on these?

Thats insane for 4 bits of plastic and a few screws. Had a hunt myself and £110 was the best, no chance, the polski universal set @ £17 and a junior hacksaw are the front runners

I think I mentioned a while back on a different topic that I know for a fact that 'Rally Flapz' will soon be stocking them for the FR model as my car has been the Test car. The test ones look MINT.

I can't give away any pics yet or definite prices but I can stay that a set of 4 in PVC normally go for around £70 (Sometimes less) and between £110 and £140 for Kaylan.

They are just as easy to fit as Seat ones but totally transform the look of the car, I know they aren't everyone's cup of tea but I love the PVC test set I have on at the moment, hang nice and low and are pretty wide, no more spray up the sides or behind me in the wet, even keep your rear window clear on the motorway in the wet too!

As soon as the top guy at Performance Creations lets me know they are going on sale I will let you guys know exact prices and see if there is any way we can get a discount going for forum user's ;-)

Ahh OK, thanks for confirming. I'm not sure if I trust myself to do the job properly as it involves drilling into the wheel liner to fit I believe and I'm not very good at DIY!
