Assuming 1994 means your 20, I doubt you'd actually be able to insure it with extensive modifications like that. I know as I'm also 20 and a remap is bad enough... And if you choose not to declare the mods then you're technically driving around uninsured. Seriously think about it, it's not just about the money to get the work done

Spend a shed load of cash to end up with something worth less than before you touched it..
As previously mentioned, you aren't going to be able to insure for decent amount with the mods you talk about and it's just gonna be a ball ache from day one.
The reason most folks will tell you the same thing is because they're correct even though that's not what you want to hear.
I'm starting to sound like my dad

Just forget incurence and cost of parts all I would like to know can I get the hybrid turbo on my car or anothet big one and what els I would need to put on it to run that thanks

Ok so forget insurance and money like you say, have a look in the engine discussion > tdi seat diesel specific topics, there is a thread there using the 110hp with mention of this turbo also look on tdi.com and contact cr turbos,

Can I just say the advise you have been given is sound and as a forum we all think of all aspects, if you were to fit all the mods and not declare them and have a crash and someone dies you will be liable for prison mate, please don't take it too heart at the end of the day and getting angry and abbusive will only result in nobody giving you any help at all,

Good luck with the car

Said so much more eloquently than I could have brought myself to..:)

My advice stands ............sell it and buy a car already equiped for high HP . However if you insist on ignoring the advice offered then your first call should be uprated brakes because the brakes on your vehicle are frankly grossly under powered at best on the standard vehicle and just not up to the job on a tuned car .

and remember ......... manners maketh Man

Just got the car on the road not selling it (wildrides) and as for the brakes I am getting cupra hubs drive shafts and bottom and fitting converted calipers that will take porsche 996 brakes I am in to modefing cars not just getting a bigger hp one

Check out tdiclub.com and have a look at possible turbo/engine/power upgrades on there. Also have a look at the budget turbo kits on Darkside to get an idea of what set ups they offer.

I imagine to make the most of a 1756 you would need uprated injectors, FMIC, full exhaust system, custom IC pipework and a few other things besides.

An engine swap for a PD130 or PD150 would be a better bet, then the 1756 will bolt straight on and be good for up to 230bhp!

hey your not a million miles away from me. by time your have bought all the parts to do this to increase your hp your gonna be looking easy 1K plus. like most have advised say if you did do all this and got stopped by cops your insurance would be void and you could lose your motor. have you tried getting a quote on a pd130/150.

LOLz at another fantastic thread.

By the time you have finished spending on the mods, and insuring it (you would be a complete idiot to not declare the mods) you will have spent more than buying a car that could handle the power.

Plus, if you just got a car oriented to higher power, a simple map would increase that even further.

But hey..it's your cash and your car. If you're at a stage where you "do all the work my self I have changed the colour of my car from red to white i do all my mecanical my self" then surely you should know if it fits or not?

So from your behaviour below, I think it's probably you that knows "**** ALL"
So is any body going to help me on her or do you all now **** ALL !
