Yesterday I got another call and was told that due to some technological break at the factory they won't be producing cars in July, August so my car would be ready for... September.
I could break the deal and look for something else. I could also take something from stock, which would be far worse specced than my car...
I'm totally gutted.

I ordered in Poland and wonder if it's the same situation if I'd ordered it somewhere else...

Don't like the sound of this post. Anybody in the know got more information on Seat not producing cars in July? I think they shut down in August anyway don't they?

Hoping mine will be here well before then.
 
Oldham David cook motors do love taking the biscuit when receiving and delivering a car... I have waited almost 6 weeks when they said I would have the car in 10 days I have come back from holiday and still.... Dealers have no idea when it will arrive.

Daz, Very Jealous! Enjoy your new car tomorrow. Hope to see some pictures. Sounds like about 11 weeks then for your FR 184.

I'm getting mine from there had no problems up to now. best thing to do is ring Seat Customer Care and ask them where your car.
 
I think I was quoted 12 weeks but turned out to be around 10 - 11 so not bad.

Ordered 17th March 5 door 184FR DSG Nevada White - quoted 12 weeks. Convenience, winter, paddles, LED, Titanium, technology (obviously!), dealer not too helpful but got order number from Seat Customer care and info that it's in build next week (17) and to call back in a couple of weeks for progress.
 
My dealer thought we were all a bit sad for wanting to track things this much lol

SE 1.6Tdi DSG in Lima Green. been told build week 17, which is this week and should be picking it up on 28th may.

Received an email from the dealer this morning (on a bank holiday too). Our car now has a confirmed build week for first week in May and expected in UK before end of May, depending on shipping.

It's feeling a little closer now.
 
Thats great news i ordered mine shortly after you so hopefully wont be to long until i get a build week .was starting to get a bit worried as i havent heard from the dealer since i ordered .

Great news. I got a phone call from my dealer today. My car is built and waiting for a boat. The dealer was saying possibly with them this month.

Getting very close now.
