Any intake air filter upgrade out there yet?, Or will induction kits for example golf gti mk7/r fit?.

Pipercross have one for the gti, currently bolted on to millteks car, mine should be coming next week and it 'should' fit, I can put some pics up when it's here if you like

Looks real good!!. In the next 2-3 weeks milltek is comming with full tbe 3 inch system aswell:).
Got the numbers from local tuning shop, About 370 bhp with cai and tbe+ giac software. I think that would make the car sweet:whistle:.

thats the info i got, have to wait untill i get my car in june to be sure. Have you heard anything about the new ecu?

yes mate its a pain in the ass and they cant get round the encryption, other people probably know more but the bottom line is no one is currently doing remaps, just tuning boxes, very good tuning boxes mind but nothing from APR or Revo which is why i am surprised GIAC would be advertising. They gotta get there eventually so maybe they have, but you wouldve thought it was more widespread knowledge

is that the same for the golf gti/R mk7?...in time they will fix this i hope. That means u cant get a full tbe system beacause you have to do a remap?!. :-(

yes mate its the same for all of the new ones, S3 included, but you can still get a TBE, you might get a light on the dash if you go for 100cel cat but if you go 200cel then you should be fine

MTM is probably very good, however at nearly 2000 euros you would expect it to be.

I am running a DTUK box, there is a few threads on here relating to them and they will cost less than half the price for an MTM box and I am sure they can ship to Sweden

there are things things going on in the ecu tuning buisness and once i got my car i know if it can be tuned by ecu.

however i will skip the mtm box mainly beacuse of that price ;-)

I think you will find that there probably wont be an ecu remap on these cars unless they can produce a map that doesnt leave any signs of software changes.

The new diagnostic software at dealers automaticaly checks for this every time it is plugged into the ecu , and if your car has a "flag" meaning the software has changed your car is automaticaly flagged as modified and your warranty is void , the dealership has no input into this.
So i think tuning boxes will become the norm unless they can 100% produce a map that doesnt leave any flags.
