I agree. The low pressure that's created over the vents should suck out the hot air. I don't think I'll be disrupting the flow underneath too much, I'll just be making the velocity of the flow higher. In theory anyway! I will do some more research before hand

The holes on the vent need to be facing the windscreen and need to be as close to the front as possible.

Back on topic, for a cold feed this would be good. Could direct it right onto the filter.

Best results would be if it was connected to a closed filter, so you would have overpressure.

i would recon you would have to be going 200+mph before that intake pressurised.
