You'd save a bomb if you weren't running a car for 6 months, then with your impending big wage rise get back in the market in 6-12 months for a weekend toy, it's the way forward mate trust me.
If I lived 5 minutes from work I'd sell the R, bike/walk to work save up a **** load of money then buy an stupid car for the weekend, GTR, RS6....

i agree with the above i used to walk to work in 10 mins only difference for me was there was my local watering hole was on the way home so i saved nothing but I was very drunk for a good few years,lol

And to be fair my car only costs me around £260 a month all in anyways. So wouldn't save that much. Finance, ins and fuel.
