Good job though in shifting most of it. A little worrying not knowing what or where it came from. Mine had little white specks all over the front. I thought it was stone chips but clay removed it.

The roof was the worst it was just baked on as it gets most of the sun.

Not the best photo but it's locked away inside the garage.

Its a house hold cleaner/stain remover comes in different forms. Its about 4 quid in Robert days and some supermarkets have it. Cleans through grease, dirt, everything really. Used it recently when I had large water stains on my scuttle panel and took them off straight away. I even use it on my exhausts brings them up nice. You tube it

So me and the motor went to my dads to sort his mk3 FR. Some how unknown to him it looks like the car has specs of white paint all over the car (bare in mind his is black) and I mean all over the car.

Quoted without the pics this time :)

I had the exact same on my black mk2 last week, clay mitt had them gone soon enough. They wouldnt even pick off with my fingernail.

Tried everything i had initially, tardis, iron x, SRP, and more.

Not a clue what the cause was.

It's good stuff great on Windows too. If the plastic is textured be especially careful. You could try autoglymn tar remover that may do the trick, it's pretty strong stuff. Great job on paint though.

I got small splats of green paint on my old MK1 Leon. I'm convinced in came off the back of a decorators / builders van I went past. It won't take much more than a paint tin with fresh paint on the lid / down the side for it to form 1000's of small drops while on the road!

It took me weeks doing a small area at a time with a clay bar to get it all sorted!

Played around with a fix for the leaky scuttle, i had the idea some time ago.

On a crude install, it worked quite well. More info soon.

Also dismantled my failed dectane DRLs to repair a snapped wire, had to go through the front and back of the unit. Connected all up to test and had a cracked LED making three others strobe due to my clumsiness. Now have the job to match and replace a single LED.

No fun at all

It was a horrible job as I did it with the inlet manifold still on. Modified spanner and all sorts. Then smacked finger with a hammer so hard it split open lol. Was trying to bend a spanner over a kerb and some how missed. Strange as I'm a carpenter and normally pretty good with a hammer.
