Just getting towards a brilliant holiday, I was looking forward for going for a drive as my car had hardly moved for ages from working so much before I went away. Any how leaving my car parked outside my house looking like this, where it is always parked.

Last few hours of my holiday I received a phone call off the the gf's mam, saying just so you don't worry when you get home that your car has been stolen, it at ours parked in the shed. Because the night we went away somebody had tried to put a brick through the wind screen. Brilliant!

So after getting home I went to see the damage, I was f**king raging and I still am.

After speaking to the nice old lady (nearly deaf) next door see told us what the other neighbours had seen. Apparently 1 of the neighbours had heard a bang looked out the window and seen 2 youths banging on my wind screen. But because it just looked like they were punching it just watched and then watched them WALK off.
After hearing this has pissed me off even more, the useless fat idiot neighbour.

So it costing £80 for a new windscreen, and all the police can do is give my a crime numbers.

Anyhow the company my insurance use can't get the windscreen till Friday so no car for the rest of the week.

I should be all chilled out after an amazing time on holiday but I'm so pissed off its unreal.

Some people need their heads held over a boiling kettle. :w4nk:
I suppose it could have been worse mate.
Hope it's all sorted soon

Could of been loads worse I was expecting damage to the paint where the brick had bounced off, but what ever they used they took with them.

Cheers, all going well I should be able to go for a drive Friday afternoon.

Wtf is going on in the UK lately with utter scum going around keying and smashing cars? Is this going to be the next wonderful use of social media?

Must have been thick as pig shizz to try and get in through the windscreen unless it was just mindless vandalism, but then it seems like a stupid area to vandalise considering how easy a screen can be replaced compared to paintwork / lights / dent damage.

My old car was vandalised twice and attempted theft once when it was parked in my street. Lots of damage to the paint from each incident. I park the Cupra in my back yard for obvious reasons, but now I run the chance of not being able to get out of my yard due to the people who park in the lane. The council dont seem to have grasped the fact you put permits in the street, and mofos are gonna dump their cars in the backlane.

You got that right Utter Scum. It wouldn't surprise me as it always seems to be in the local paper a lot more than I can ever remember.

This is the 1st time any of my cars have been damaged in 9 years of parking on the road outside where I've lived, I'm so pissed off about it. But in the next month I expect to be picking up the keys to our new house so my car will be living in a garage and hers on the drive.

Haha I had this problem at my friends until we unclipped the rear handbrake cables and pushed it 500m down the road. Lol

What an awesome idea. I will seriously consider doing that next time.
Been close at times to calling in some favours and getting 2 mates to park their cars eitherside of the car blocking me in so THEY cant go anywhere and see how it f**king feels.

This morning the refuse collectors (aka bin men) couldnt get their wagon around the top of the lane. People park right on the corners as well as opposite obvious 'garage' door style gates.
Reason the council dont want to know is because half the cars are their workers. Utter cnuts the lot of them.

In other news, after 2000 miles in the Cupra (1000 stock and 1000 stage 1) my car doesnt appear to have used a drop of oil. Kinda polar opposite to what I see people saying on here about oil use!

Ticked over 79,000 miles. Seems to be going up really quickly lately. About 1000 miles every 3 weeks now. Really wanted to keep this car below 100k before selling but, with my new commute its getting a bit of a hammering mileage wise.

Andrew JB did his on VAS at a dealer & pretty sure Jake would of had to of had his coded in too.

How much did you get them for? Really want some myself but would mean a FL tailgate too.

Thanks mate, I was gonna leave fully badgless but decided to add the fr just to break it up a bit.

Hey Nick,
I love that front top grill. Did you make the mod or does someone sell them like that?
I have always looked out for a grill but none of them match the thick hexagon type grills at the bottom. It looks real good, fits perfectly.

And I would have definitely gone with an empty grill but after seeing the subtle fr badge I think I prefer the way youve done it.
