Either way still better than nothing.

Back to the gearbox oil I used Millers Oils TRX Semi-synthetic 75w-90.

Should be fine if it meets the VW spec, though I use a fully synthetic Fuchs Titan FE 75W which was advised by Opie

Yeah just been on to Opie, and they said the Millers 75w/90 is too thick for the gearbox and recommended the Fuchs TITAN SINTOFLUID FE SAE 75W synthetic. Will have to change it as I'm worried about it when cold.

Bought some more gearbox oil on the recommendation of Opie.

Bought 3 litres of Fuchs Titan Sintofluid FE SAE 75w.

I was advised the current Millers stuff I put in will be fine, it will just put more strain on the box as it is a bit too thick. Better to be safe than sorry for £30.

This is the same as I have used and it feels fine

Is it difficult to do? May change mine cos why not!

Very easy, drain plug is underneath and fill plug on the front side of the gearbox. Both plugs need a 10 mm hexagonal bit to remove. Fill up to the point it starts coming out of the fill hole, approx 2.4 L

You need to clear the fault codes.

Do it ASAP as while airbag light is on, all your airbags are deactivated. So if you crash, they won't deploy....

Ah righto, so the obd2 Bluetooth thingamy wouldn't do it then? Cheers for getting back to me bud.

In other news, if anyone else has horizon 2 on the 360, add HawBawJaws, looking for some battles!

Got my snowfoam in the mail so got home and tested it on the mr2 first for a quick clean. Direct Hoses foam lance (recommended by Detailingworld over the AutoDirect one) and Valet Pro pH neutral foam.

Worked a treat! Manually dried the car afterwards and the waffle weave towel was clean as could be. Don't know what ya'll go on about. Cut down my quick cleans to about 20 mins.
