Picked up brand new set of 18's with new hankook v12 evo tyres today on my local gumtree, even came with new nuts, lockers and different centre cap overlays all for under £500, hard to say no really :)

Very nice, and all for the price of not too much more than I paid just for a wheel refurb.......................

cheers dude, I was thinking about changing the colour but think I'll stick with the original finish going by prices from some places.

Yeah well my wheels are 18's and I changed the colour with the refurb to shadow chrome black

Didn't want gloss black like everyone else [B)]

So not too different from your bog standard alloy then, i thought it might be a bit different what with the chrome effect.

Mounted my TRC splitter yesterday, think it looks really good.
The middle and the right side bolts was a pain to fit though, the middle ones i got trough the grill and with right ones I had to remove the foglight and get it that way.

Indeed, going to start seriously looking tomorrow :)
Good hunting, think we've made the decision, a Mk 3 for us . I'll be really sorry to see the R go, I will miss it, but I know Kaz hasn't took to it like the previous FR. We drove a manual Cupra at the weekend, that cemented it in her mind. I have to be fair as its her that uses it most of the time, so compromises have to be made.
