Place called Big Fish Tuning. They have great reputation an it's not some off the shelf map. Should see 200-205bhp afterwards. It's going in at 9:30 or 10:00 depending how early I get up lol.

Well it's had the remap this morning. I must say the drive home was great, it pulls very hard through all gears and right through the rev range. The power delivery is very smooth too, no more flat spots it just wants to go :)

Very happy so far.

John is a great guy and definitely knows his stuff! You did get your VagCars discount, right? The cafe around the corner is pretty decent too haha

Yeah got the discount. Just hope the DPF is fine. John wasn't what I was expecting, but seems a genuinely nice guy. Aye, been to the cafe before as I used to work on that estate. Nice bacon sarnie as I waited ;)

Not much of an update but one non the less. Swapped my sprayed front grille for the Cupra one I got for free. Had to clean it up and give it a good polish first.

What's the difference between the standard and Cupra grille? Is it just the chrome sides?

Car is looking very nice by the way.

Yeah the chrome is black plastic instead. Just meant I could take the one I sprayed off and the Cupra one wont show any chips.

Big fish tuning have a great reputation, good to see you're happy with it. You always know a good place for mapping as they don't advertise like Revo/APR.

Yeah great service, haven't heard a bad word about him.

That's good Its ace how you can get more power and better fuel efficiency. Having spoke at length with big lee M I'm now thinking of having my map done at shark performance I'm giving them a call tomorrow to have a chat with Ben the owner.

Thats good, I know people used to use them quite a lot off here.

Been out in the snow today but couldnt get past 30mph the roads are so bad :(

Haven't heard any bad press about them accept for a bloke with a Skoda that claimed his map made his car go into limp mode on track days. From what I have seen shark did nothing wrong.

We haven't had any snow here just rain perhaps it's coming

Well today I thought I would give the interior a good detail and decided that because it's so simple to remove the front seats that I would give it a good deep clean.

Started off with this.

Front seats removed.

Found some money hiding away.

All dirt etc agitated with a brush and hoovered, leaving this.

Once that was done I tackled the centre console, dash and door cards using Armour All interior wipes.

Before

After

I then washed the seats, mats and boot mat with AG interior shampoo, a brush and various microfibers.

Seats re-fitted and the finished pics. (excuse the seats, they were wet from washing and look dirty also the footplates look dirty which I didnt notice until looking through the pics)

And to finish I tackled the flocked parts with some parcel tape to collect all the dust off them.

Took me almost 5 hours in total, but well worth it.

I also topped the oil up while I was at it.

Comments welcome.

Thanks Craig, my backs broken but enjoyed it. Thinking of advertising my detailing to see if I can make some extra cash on the side.

Got another part number for your thread too. Will PM you.
