Nice one, I only got 1 clip per deflector. I have them on my octavia and they don't even needs clips. The rears seem a really lose fit. I didn't even bother with the fronts as I didn't want just fronts on, I wanted the full set. How was the fit of the fronts? Would I get away without clips.

I've been looking at 18" wheels and they are a lot cheaper than 19's. Very interested in what you have ordered. Can't wait to see them.

Yes, my fronts came with 2 clips per side, but the rears did only come with 1, but have a few spares from others that I've fitted that didn't need them.

After putting some on our other car that aren't Heko's that didn't even come with clips, I do now put them in where possible because they do help keep them in place.

Me either, definately coming tomorrow, just had an email from where I bought them, hopefully my tyres will be in aswell :D.

I've just been and checked, and you're right the front do have two clips per side so I will have another go at fitting them this weekend as I love the look of them on the leon.

1toomanycars, how much did the eibach springs say they would lower the car by? they just seem to sit it perfect and im after some springs really badly. If you have a link that would be even better! only reason I ask is ive seen some for 20mm and some for 40mm. Cheers in advance :)

From memory they claim up to 30mm, but the Cupra R is already slightly lower as standard, so is not meant to to lower it as much, however, I do think mine has gone down quite a bit??

The springs were bought from Awesome GTI in Manchester, and they were excellent. They had them in stock,*I ordered them about 1.30 and they were with me first thing the following morning. The price ended up the cheapest I could find by a couple of quid aswell, because I told them the cheapest I had seen them, and they slightly undercut that.

Some say they prefer H+R because they make the car sit completely level front and rear, and I was very tempted myself, but I have always found Eibachs have excellent ride comfort for lowering springs, plus the H+R's would've been nearly a week at the time I ordered.

Ive just looked on their website and it says that H + R springs for the cupra (which i have) lower the car 30mm all round. But on the Eibach springs it says that it lowers the front 20mm and the rear 30mm. Pretty much making the car more level? they are both the same price at £183, would you reccomend the Eibach? Cheers Andy

Also does it scrape? Ta

I would definately recommend the Eibachs as I have had them on so many cars now, but I have never had H+R's. From the people I have spoken to, they reckon they are comparable to the Eibachs, but I wanted something that I was certain would not only lower the car and improve the handling, but would also improve the hard ride in my Cupra R, all of which they have done.

They don't scrape at all on the standard 19" wheels with 235/35 tyres, but they are 8" wide and et45, however, they do catch on occasion with the new wheels, but they are 8.5" wide and et42 with 235/35 tyres.

I have however been assured that with a 225/35 tyre that would no longer happen.

really fancy wheels fit your car perfectly

Cheers mate, they do look smart and I am pleased with them as they are also light for 19's, but I have had a change of plan and decided to have my original wheels completely refurbed in gloss black and have them refitted................so these may be for sale at a good discount on new if you're interested? ;)
