Went out for a few blasts yesterday - first time since before xmas on proper dry roads. Was pleased to find the clutch is still sound for now.....
Those Bridgestones are very drifty :)

I did the same yesterday only the local roads were a bit damp in places but my clutch seem to not slip at all until i gave a little too much power in fourth going up hill where i should have been in 3rd,my clutch seems to slip a lot more often when its cold.
I have got a new clutch waiting to go on its just finding the time and motivation to fit it.

Whilst we are on topic of clutches what do you all recommend for these cupra's?

Also don't want to go single mass but would you say OEM dual mass is good for stage2

finally where would be the best place to purchase these parts from, guessing Alex at AKS would be a good place to start?

Mine is fine at the moment but will need doing at some point so would like to know where I stand in advance.

Cheers

Revs had been rising for me in 4th/5th was worried it was clutch but seemed to all bite just fine yesterday. Pulls like hell in 3rd/4th, flooring it in 5th and 6th was fine too.
Must have just been the underlying dampness plus these non grippy Potenzas.

Think I might be pulling the trigger on this BCS plan with KebabWarrior, just cant decide on the extra couple hundred for powervalve or not.

Get some F1's when your ready to change them Paul you won't be disappointed.

I'm not going to bother with the powervalve mate just want full sports system with 200 cell cat.

Hopefully my clutch doesn't see its arse and decide to throw a paddy

Got my large MFD, couldn't get it fitted though... Gotta say the chap tried and couldn't get the headunit out to gain access. Fair play for stopping get before something broke though!

All coded just not fitted. A job for tomorrow me thinks.

Cheers mate.....Looks good that one [B)]

I've managed to source a TSi badge for a front grill. So I'm thinking get a badgeless grill mesh style & have the TSi emblem im the bottom left of right corner.

I currently have the mesh insert that fits behind the standard grill fitted to mine with the chrome edge wrapped black.

Not too bad at 74 for that grill. Think I'm gonna bite the bullet and buy in :D

Where you been off roading?

Haha it's the dust from work. I work on a steel making plant and the dust off the coal/coke etc is horrendous. Gets everywhere :censored:

Good efforts there mate nice and shinny :p

Thanks Craig, took me about 5 hours. Is dirty again now due to the rain.

I was gonna drive down for a detail from Daniel, but it looks like my car will end up more filthy from driving out of his gaff than it is now :D
Must be that lovely Borough smog

Lol, blame the steel works I work at for the dirt.

Good effort fella. Sunday's are bad for spending money I've been looking all day at what I can buy lol. But holding back as I want a BCS system.

Know what you mean mate, the H&R springs are down to £122 + delivery on eBay now and its so tempting
