That's some bad luck on the bumper mate, lad at work had this happen to his B8 A4 and it dinged the bonnet. I'd be devastated to say the least.

its more annoying than anything if im being honest but the fact that i couldnt avoid it made me feel a bit better.. my mates a sprayer though so getting it done cheap cheap

I had a big piece of metal smash through my undertray not long back on the M62. Pulled over on the hard shoulder and it was wedged in luckily it wasn't anything serious.
Trying to claim on the highways as they closed the motorway straight after to move the rest of it.
Thankfully yours wasn't any worse pal.
