That's crap Gareth, hope you have a fast recovery mate
Ha ha brotherly love right there good effort Dan![]()
Well, the first time that I ruptured it I reckon I was out of action for almost three months. After an MRI and some cryotherapy cuff treatment/physio I was fighting fit once again.
The second time it was only about 5 weeks. The rupture was diagnosed after the MRI but it didnt feel like it did when I did it first time around. I started playing again but I knew it wasnt right. My knee couldnt fully straighted or bend for another month or so and even then it was never quite right.
The third and most recent time (beginning of February), I am only just getting back to playing now. I am scheduled for yet another MRI with the view to finally conceeding that I need to go under the knife. I have three games left to play this season so if I can get those out of the way then I will be happy.
Oh yeah, I play in goals so its an issue but not like it would be if I played outfield. Gutted for you about the charity match pal!
Cheers mate hoping its quick. Got a baby due in 5 weeks so I at least hope I can walk unaided before then.
Thanks for replying, I might be lucky and make the game but it's doubtful at the moment.
Thanks for the reply mate do i have to drain all of it or could I get away with just the radiator itself. From experience... I removed the front bumper, then headlights, then front cross member, which houses the air con rad, inter cooler and rad, so they will all need unplugging, it's a easy enough job. Where as .. My friend removed his intercooler by partly removing the front end and it was a nightmare!

Thanks for the help, hopefully all goes well tomorrow.Depends which way you do it to be honest, my way is extreme because I was doing a engine conversion so it was all out lol, but umm if I was faced with the same issue I would first try to pry back the centre cross member then unbolt all 3 rads, and try pry it out.

Ordered some lowering springs, now to look for somewhere to fit them...
Nice one. Which flavour did you go for?
Im seriously thinking of picking up some springs for when the car goes in for its cambelt and possibly clutch bonanza soon.
Decided on H&R 30mm for the even drop all round

Yeah should look nice an mean. Will just need a triple R front splitter to finish it off. Unsure whether to do the rear badge too?
Gonna go for the 40mm ones myself.
