What are people's experiences when coming to any end of your pcp deal and looking to part ex?

How much equity has been in the car allowing you to stick down as a deposit? - I know it's nothing like £3-4k but more in the region of £1500-£1700??

I've managed to change mine with one and a half years to go. The outstanding finance matches the value of the vehicle (nearly) so nothing to pay to swap.

I too would be interested in what the value is like at the end of your PCP.

That's interesting. You'd assume then if you had waited till the end of the deal it would have been worth more than the GMFV/balloon payment.

I'm just slightly worried that I get a bit of a crap offer of £500 when it comes to trade/start new pcp.

I'm not sure how long through your PCP you are at the moment, but you can request a settlement quote online from the seat finance website. If you play that off versus trade in prices from Parkers you should see if your building equity in the vehicle. Or even better, convince a dealer your interested in a new car, get them to value the car before you give them the settlement quote though!

Would you recommend PCP over PCH? Ive just taken my Leon 184 on a 2 year PCH deal, 900 quid down and 240 a month with a 10k pa allowance, considering a PCP after this is done
