This is so true. I never believe the 'Factory trained technicians' line spewed by car dealerships. Trained at what factory, where? Unless there's a fault code, or fluid visibly leaking out, good luck. I generally used to speak quite highly about my local Seat dealer, but in the 7 months I had my Mk3 Leon, they changed my mind. They took two attempts to fix the issue with the vanity mirror lights being switched on all the time whenever the blind was lowered even if the sliding door was closed. They scratched the clear plastic on the instruments when attempting to sort that rattle. The final nail in the coffin was when the 'characteristic' word was uttered with regard to a really strange rattling coming from the clutch/transmission side of the engine. They told me it was the same on other cars they had at the dealers. I had already checked this out on other cars so knew it to be rubbish. Needless to say, the car is gone. Never again.

All Seat technicians are trained At VW's national learning Centre in milton keynes it is a mandatory requirement of working at any seat or vw dealership.

Jennings are highly thought of in the SEAT world.

Hence why I did a 7 hour round trip to collect my car from them, my sister also did a similar journey for her Ibiza.
