Cupra 280 vs. Type R vs. Megane RS Autoexpress

Picked up the latest Auto Express magazine (24-30 June) yesterday to read their 'Type R Mega Test' feature which pits the Type R against the Cupra 280 and the Renault Megane RS Trophy.

I was pleasantly surprised by the results:

1st - Seat Leon Cupra 280 / 5 stars
2nd - Honda Civic Type R / 4.5 stars
3rd - Renault Megane RS / 4.5 stars

Basically, the Cupra came out a clear winner.

I don't know who they had driving it though because they got a 0 - 60 time of 6.7 seconds when I can get 6 seconds flat with traction issues.

Anyway, thought you'd enjoy it.

The thing is the new focus RS will be AWD faster than type R and round about same price so how well will the type R sell.
