Ibiza signal radio problem

Hi guys and girls I been having problems getting radio channels in my area but when I drive my other car I have no problems is it a big Ibiza problem and can it be fixed ??

Hi Mate,

We have exactly the same problem with our 2010 Black Edition. The only station that we can get clearly is the very local one, everything else crackles away even the big major stations. Got to a point now that I rarely use the radio. I did take it to the dealer while still within warranty and typically it was behaving itself and being in Essex (Lakeside) they could pick up the London stations pretty clearly. I think I read somewhere it was caused by water ingress into the aerial, but I am reluctant to take it apart as I believe it involves removing the headlining.

Please let me know if you find a fix.

Hi,

My radio signal has been poor since I got the car and after the first winter it was unusable, now my car is 4 years old it can't even pick up any stations. I decided that I may as well replace the long aerial with a shorter aerial for better looks since it didn't work either way.
