Aye not too bad, on the job hunt again though unfortunately :(

The tint film takes some patience bud haha. What do you need for stage 2+?

Hopefully you get something sorted mate. Will need intercooler,Loba pump,CAI and rs4 valve so a fair parts bill ha ha

Stunning car you have mate. They do look great in candy white.

Thank you mate much appreciated

Craig, what's happened, no activity for over two weeks, on holiday maybe, as I hope you haven't stopped upgrading the motor (or been ordered to) as I really like reading about all your upgrades as if the car was mine. Getting withdrawal symptons.

Hi guys sorry for the lack of updates I've been really busy with work and wedding things.

Here is a pic of the stock plugs I changed, these had done around 5k miles

In this image you can see on cylinder 1's coil pack there is slight rust at the tip.So I've got a set of the R8 ones coming from AKS tuning

Have recently changed my headlight bulbs to the Mtec super whites and IMO they are much better than the nightbreakers.

Have also got a set of H1's to replace the full beam bulbs

Big thanks to markrich for fitting my lambda spacer to eliminate the EML coming on.This is what it looks like

It basically pulls the sensor away from the flow of exhaust gases

Here are a few images I've recently taken of the Cupra :p

Have ordered some red Cupra floor matts there not going to be everyone's taste but will see how they look once here.

Thanks for looking much appreciated ;)

God I wish mine was white! :D Car's looking as good as ever, them Mtech's are a lot whiter than the night breakers, how is the light output in comparison?

Ha ha cheers buddy regards the bulbs I've got to be honest they don't throw out as much light as the nightbreakers but there isn't much in it. Personally I think it's a small price to pay as the Mtech's are spot on in terms of colour. Will try and get a shot of them at night so you can see what there like.

You gone for BKR7EIX's mate, I was looking at these last week, camskill have them at a really good price.

Yes mate there the ones, perfect for 310-340 bhp. Got mine from samtech performance they were about £32 delivered. To be honest I didn't think to look on camskill what are they charging for future reference?

£6.49, not sure what their delivery is though so probably about the same money as you've paid. I know samtech coil packs are strong money, £99.99 I think they were and most other places are around the £85 mark so would've expected their plugs to be dearer as well...assumption, apparently doesn't pay!

Yeah samtech can be expensive for some things. Coils are £86 posted from AKS that's currently the best price anywhere so went with that.Plus it's always a good service from Alex.

Have to be honest the plugs didn't arrive for just over a week from samtech so not the best mate.

Glad to see you are not allowing wedding type things to sway you from the true path..... :D

Looking sweet as a nut mate! Beautiful as ever! :)

How's the wedding coming along too? All the plans coming down smoothly?

Cheers Lee much appreciated mate ;) yes the wedding is nearly upon us it's all getting very real now ha ha.

So my R8 coils arrived yesterday from AKS tuning great service as usual can't fault Alex.

Old ones still fitted:

You will see on cylinder 3 the wiring loom connector is broken this was done at some point in her previous ownership [:@] although it doesn't affect the car I know it's there and it bugs me lol.

image_zpsa4hnq7dt.jpg

Only proper solution would be to replace the connector or if that's not possible the loom but for now I'll live with it.

Old vs new:

New fitted:

She is running better both on idle and on WOT so it's clear that something wasn't right with the others and I'm guessing it's the old cylinder 1 coil that was covered in rust.

Could just be a placebo but I'm 100% positive that it's running better so happy days :)

Cheers chaps

Haha, well it's going to be a fight between the wives at the wedding! :D

Looking good on the front with the engine though, gutted about the wiring loom block, I can agree with how it bugs you, it'd bug me to the point I'd have to get it changed eventually! :D

I'm liking the red tops too, they give the added eye candy, or at least it does for me haha! :D

Hi All Little update on the Cupra have recently purchased these mats for her. They are a perfect fit and are a very high quality. They won't be to everyone's taste but I like them.

Fitted:

On to more exciting things now.Over the past few weeks I've been thinking long and hard on where to go with the car as I'd kind of come to a halt. So after much coming and going with what I want I've made my decision to sell it.............. Ha ha only joking the truth is she is going stage2+ :p

So my latest purchase was the Rs4 fuel pressure valve

My next part was kind of back to square one lol in the form of this.

Fitted:

Next on the list will be a Loba hpfp,

Then she will be getting this custom welly cooler fitted at dynodaze it's a toyosports cooler and has been proven well into 400+ bhp so will easily cope with 2+ power and will work very well. Its custom as it won't be fitted with the usual silicone hoses like most use. This will have solid pipe work.

Main benefit of this is it will have less bends than using hoses as it will be made to fit the car and take the straightest route possible and will flow better.
Whilst the car is in bits I'm having an AC delete and the inlet manifold removed for a valve clean. This then got me thinking whilst the manifold is off why not get the runner flap delete mod done so that's what will happen.

Really looking forward to her next chapter as I've gotten used to how she is now so it will be a completely different animal once all of the above is done and then she goes back to R-Tech for the 2+ map to be done.

Thank you for looking ;)

Same cooler as me although i have silicone and hard pipes, would be good if dynodaze could make a solid pipework kit i would defo buy one.
Your love the installment of the hpfp it makes the car feel so much more positive well it did for me anyway the ic on the other hand i felt nothing but then i didnt expect to anyway.
Get yourself one of the Rtech full pcv delete kits if they still do them to stop all that gun k from clogging your valves up again.
