I understood that this is true for 2013/2014 models, on 2015 it unfolds mirrors when you unlock the car, so my question is if it's possible change the behavior via VCDS coding, probably not...

There you go, mine is 13 that is why I was shocked to hear that they unfold when unlocked.

My previous company Audi A3 (MY15) and my Citroen DS3 unfolded mirrors when unlocked and folded when locked which is not so bad because when I move away from the car and think whether I locked it or not my mirrors always let me know ;)

Is it possible to programme the door mirror indicators to sweep like on the new Audis or is new hardware required? I'm sure I've seen a clip of a Leon mk3 having this.

Nope it's not possible with the existing leon mirrors

I have over 250 mods via VCDS (Ver 15.7.X). If you need something special, pls ask (type: Lights, BAP, FIS, etc.).

Acctually I don't know yet. Done some modds as staging/carbon fibre/cornerlights/folding mirrors/laptimer, but since we all don't really know whats possible to do with the Leon.
Is it possible that you could sent it to me via mail?
Or you rather keep it to yourself?

If you have any pointers on whats good to have, you can write it down here.

I have tried to enable all menù related to the mirrors (spiegel) but the fold/unfold is the same.

It's worked before then the car went to seat and had the infotainment system replaced and now it won't redo it. I'll check the version in a minhte

uupss, if do you have the newest infotainment unit, you could make VCDS mods only thru 15.7.3 cable :funk:

Off Road Display - Instructions:

WARNING: VCDS users that have a HEX+CAN, or Micro CAN Cable please note that this tweak (and any tweaks) on MIB2 units (address Hex5F) should only be implemented with Ross Tech software version 15.7.3 (or later).

REQUIREMENT: This tweak will only work on MIB2 units that have SATNAV installed (don't bother trying if a SATNAV is not present).

Step 1. On Select Control Module screen click "Select"
Step 2. Select 5F-information Elect
Step 3. Go to step 4 - Note: I've had reports from some forum colleagues that a security code was needed. If the adaptation channel settings in Step 5 are locked:
Step 3A. Go back to the Open Controller screen and select Security Access-16
Step 3B. Enter the magic number 31347 (if this doesn't work- exit RT software, wait a while with the ignition-on and try 20103)
Step 4. Select Adaptation-10
Step 5. Change the following adaptation channels:
(81)-Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_compass - set to active (default not active)
(83)-Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_compass_over_threshold_high - set to active (default not active)
(41)-Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2-compass_0x15 - set to active (default not active)

Exit the Ross Tech software
Step 6. Reset the MIB unit - press and hold the ON/OFF button on the infotainment unit for greater than 10 seconds.

Thanks for posting kopnr -

Would presume that 328ft in middle of screen relates to your actual height above sea level ?
