I received today (Tues 26 July 2016) an email from seatcomms.co.uk advising me that my MOT is due.

Nice reminder. BUT an MOT on my one SEAT car is not due until end of next year, 2017 .

This is irresponsbile and is in effect hoodwinking a SEAT customer into arranging and paying for an unecessary MOT !!

Terrible SEAT Customer Service.

Beware being duped by SEAT

Responses to commentary:
Yes: this is my first and only SEAT car
Yes: I have spoken to SEAT Customer Care, and the person was unable to provide an explanation - I am still awaiting a response.

Hmm. Strange. I was told by dealer that timing belt was due for replacement but when queried had phone call advising was 1 year early.

Have you had any other SEAT cars in the past, can you post the full email address that its come from.

The domain belongs to VW UK so yeh its a real domain.

I get regular calls/letters than my cars are due for MOT/Service.

Problem is my private plate has been on all of my SEAT's so they send me letters for the older cars.
