Does this switch light up like the Auto start/stop switch? I never took any notice before to it, as it does acknowledge it when pressed on the dash.

That's what I thought! It does show up that it is deactivated on the dash but doesn't light up.
Try holding it (when stopped) for a couple of seconds til' it stays on the dash, resets every time the engine restarts
Tried that, still no light! Maybe there's none. What it did do though was it turned it off completely when I kept it pressed for a few secs. Pressing it once tells you on the dash it's only partially restricted. Learn something new every day!
Would you believe only 2 seconds ago I was watching a re-run of top gear on the Lexus RCF and he pushed the ESC button and no light! Thanks for the response. One thing I did learn was keep it pressed and it completely turns it off!Just checked and , as usual, I've got it wrong. The button does not light up, only the indicator on the dash. I'm sure it did in previous model ( 14 plate) but then again....

yeh, not with the car at the time, and I don't turn it off much and not for a while.
Don't ever turn mine off! So what your saying is you know for definite it lights up or are you unsure?
