FR Useless reversing light

Anybody else frustrated by the glow worm reversing light on the Leon. It's really just an indicator to others.
I know there are the parking sensors but in the pitch dark being able to see as well is an advantage.
Any ideas on how to improve night time reversing vision.

I feel your pain! I often have to leave my house at silly o'clock in the morning before the street lights come in and reversing off the driveway would be ridiculous without the parking sensors

I used to feel like this until I fitted an LED. It really changes it, last night I was reversing in a pitch black car park at Silverstone and I saw a man with a pram. Good thing I changed the bulb because I don't think I would of seen them otherwise

I haven't done my reversing light yet but my rear indicator LEDs don't interfere with the DAB radio. They are fairly decent, well-made units though.

I've just ordered that reversing bulb. I've no idea how to do a before or after comparison though lol

The other thing you can do if you want more brightness is turn up the voltage with vcds, for some reason the voltage feed to the reverse light is reduced down to 11.3 volts

Here's the reversing LED I saw recommended with the above indicator LEDs, marginally cheaper than the others posted in this thread and looks to be of a good quality:

Are the indicator leds canbus error free?
16 gbp is good price for two pieces.
