ive had a mk2, 2mk3s and a mk5(which i still throw money at), but absent from the list was a mk4 Cupra , until now.

few updates, coils raised to a proper ride height,
pipercross panel filter dropped in,
mudflaps are gone.

gunna drive it some more.

got a day off tomorow so more pics/detailing will happen.

New oem fuel filter,
New oil,
Wrong filter from tps (typical) so back to tps to get a load of the right filters and drop the oil again tomorrow and put a new filter in it
Quantum platinum 5w40
New battery aswell 75ah 650cca yuasa battery.

the mk5s are nice, but the 4s are still oldschool enough for me to get my turbo fix even when driving to work.

the boc is completly diffrent to drive than this, and much faster.

but there both great cars

new wipers- bosch aeros.
and ive got 5 oil filters, so should be good for a while.

(another oil change happening tonight!) and finally getting round to detailing it!!

another update, just minor,

4 new bridgestone Potenzas RE050A thrown on, 52500 miles.
all 4 tyres balanced and tourqed up properly, car drives 100% better than on the budgets!


day i picked it up,

parked on the drive after the first 600miles.

I only got the Mk 5 because wife wanted us to have a 5 Dr because of our daughter and granddaughter on days out etc.

Nice. you got quite a lot of fresh parts for your ride including the top mounts of the Bilstein coilovers B14. Have you finished installing this?

Whiteline Front Anti Roll Bar,
Whiteline Rear Anti Roll Bar,
Powerflex- Front Wishbone Rear(Race),
Powerflex- Front Wishbone Front(Race),
Powerflex- Dog Bone Mount(Purple)
Powerflex- Rear Beam mount(Not sure if i need 72.5mm or 69mm) anyone know?
Autec 7.5j et38 8.5KG alloys,
Federal RSR 215/40/17" tyres,
20mm Spacers all round(not 100% it will work yet),
Full Brake rebuild kit(for the APS),
Ferrodo DS2500s (front),
discs im undecided atm- Suggestions?,
Motul RBF660,

I have stock oem seat top mounts and bearings dude. Don't have billstein ones. And m yet to fit them.
