Mk1 leon sideskirts not fitting right

My side skirts seem to poke out away from the car near the front, is this a simple case of them not being fitted correctly. I've tried to take a pic to show what I mean

One of mine looks like that from the jacking cover being refitted a few times. You have the whack it and flex the skirt so I think it comes away over time.

So has it cone off of some clips? Can I easily refit it properly?

Its normally caused by idiots in garages jacking the car up on the side skirt instead of using the jacking points. Undoing the 2 screws at the front of the skirt and pushing it back on normally works.

Both my sides have a slight gap, not quite as bad as you've shown me. I tried last summer to get them to fit properly but they just wouldn't sit flush.

Mine are the same. As mentioned above it's caused by goons jacking the car up without any consideration for the skirts so they tend to flex outwards.

I can only see one screw at the front of the skirt. Any pics showing locations?

Yeah it is only one screw, thought there was 2 for some reason.

cheers. took that out, but the skirt didn't want to move

that's because its not the only screw, under neath undo the other screw then you need to pull the skirt out slightly and push it back in, this allows it to sit over the top of the crushed sill!!! , ive just done myn an hour ago and now sits perfect.

Thanks for the thread. My driver's side is the same and it bugs every time i get in the morning. I assumed it had been twatted before i bought the car. Glad i can resit it now! Cheers
