Washing and detailing

Hi all
Just wanted to share some photos and stories on detailing the leon. Todays maintenance wash turned into wax top up (using autoglym aqua wax bought by accident long story) rain X reapplied to all windows its been over a year since it was last applied so its safe to say it stands the test of time as the side windows were still beading crazy. I recently purchased a new wheel brush for £3 at asda (definitely worth it) and had a harder brush for behind the rims which today was used for getting chewing gum off the wheel spoke (god knows how it got there). I mainly use my local detail company Am details i highly praise their sealant. Its long lasting great shine and beads well. I also have their acid free wheel cleaner, the apc, de tar and de iron.
A side note is i have noticed a white residue appear on the right hand corner on the black trim plate it went away for a while with back to black trim restorer but it has come back (maybe this old product isnt any good anymore).
Thats all for now would love to hear some feedback good and bad.

I like them shiny exhaust...metal polish with microfibre?, or you needed a lot more scrubbing with something else prior?

Yeah i use autosol metal polish with a microfibre. Ive used it on a lot of cars and got some really ace results

Straight up? Or you had to do the wash and rinse procedure first with the exhausts, then the autosol + MF cloths?

I actually didnt wash mine before hand i did remember to do so on my mates car and it didnt really remove much to be honest its too baked on
