aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand the muthatrucker still leaks

Boot still leaking even tho I got a new rubber seal plus new tailgate light

Has Anyone ever had a leak in there boot sidewall?? I have one the rear Drivers side SIDEWALL Carpet is damp along the bottom an water building up under the spare wheel? Where would it be getting on from would it be the light??
Have you checked whether there are any cracks in the seams at the top corners of the boot opening (just behind where the roof gutter trim ends)?

Ran the hose over the top of car and the water was dripping down above the arch coming into boot but can't see where its getting in from tho just see a bit where its dripping

I've a brand new boot rubber seal on it 2days ago got it from SEAT I put it on havent checked the aerial yet But if it was the aerial would it not leak down both sides of the car

Was a guess to be honest , someone also suggested the tail light cluster seals ?. Like me its a voyage of stripping things out and re testing till you find it.

I'm gonna go over it today with a hose again & keep searching till I try & fix this leak but when I got the new boot rubber seal I also got a new tailgate light from seat but still leaked Sure with the new drivers tail light the seals on them shouldn't need checked if its new it's getting in from them pics but just need to find where tho

As I said earlier, did you check the seams at the top corners of the boot opening?
I had a tiny hairline crack in my seam which was giving a very small leak into the side of the boot as you describe. When I put a sharp tool into the crack, most of it crumbled away, leaving an impressive gaping hole, as shown in the image below. I have now resealed it.:yes:
