Had to sneak out at work... it's already started running off the one side.

Beading is something people really love to see, but its not the be all and end all. You can still have a lovely finish and good protection without it. Indeed it can have downsides, especially when it freezes, or dries out and leaves spots.

As the weather has been laaaavly today and I spent hours with my DA polishing, glazing, waxing..thought I would show my 'flake', not my beading.. waiting for the rain for an update on bead-abilty!

Adding to the above, for in between detail washes I've got AG Aqua Wax (gifted to me), is there anything better you bead pro's have found?

I know this technically isn't inbetween. But I got recommend / use obsession wax. The instructions say to basically wax up the whole car first. Then go round and remove it. Takes longer than a spray wax. But I was naughty and used it in the sun and it still took about 5 minutes to buff the whole car!

@Legojon cheers! I'll have to check it out. Previously I've used Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer, but that was on a red car so if it went wrong, wasn't so bad.

Used it once on my black Cupra and left it for too long... just had to restart my clean!

I see you lot discussing the new Meguires Hyper Ceramic Wax, bu I've found it to have mixed reviews across other boards?

A few weeks old application still beading, admittedly with a rubbish AG Aqua Wax application about a week ago added on top.

Still fully recommend PoorBoys Natty Wax, its a dream to put on and seems to last well, even with a run up and down the M1 in rain etc. (excuse the odd claw hand..:p)

Natty paste wax is brilliant stuff, I have been using it for years.

Month since last used proper wax, topped during a maintenance wash with SONAX BSD which I forgot I had about 2 weeks ago.

I have my eye on a new wax, Collinite 915 Marque D’Elegance. If it’s anything like the Collinite I know I’m hoping it’s a harder wearing wax then most! Anyone used it?

@bgb..Not used the 915 but I always go for the collinite 845 when I wax the white St,easy to apply and buff off and a little goes a very long way. Water beading is not to bad either.

Couple of days ago, early morning beading with the in2detailing ceramic wax. For about £20 it’s good value and reasonably hard wearing.
