Evening,

I'll shortly be requiring front new brake discs and pads. The seat dealer has advised the best price they can do this work for is £224 instead of the seat fixed price of £329 and thats with the genuine parts. Is this a decent price or would it be significantly cheaper at an independant garage ?

Thankd

Front discs and pads or rear discs and pads?

what size engine?

£224 for discs and pads doesnt seem excessive for a main dealer whatever axle / size they are.

It’s not a bad price from a main dealer.

2hrs - 3hrs labour+ parts.
Acceptable
Book time for new front brakes is 90mins.
Using genuine parts price seems reasonable.
If OES or aftermarket parts maybe not so reasonable.
