Just had superchips out this morning for remap on my 2018 Leon 2.0 tdi 150 bhp. Definitely money we'll spent.

Finally got my sensors installed in the rims!
It's nice to know the tires are allright with some more detail. My previous car was a screw-magnet.. having this gives a bit more confidence everything is okay.
What parts did you need to order to get that working? Would love a more detailed view than what I have now...

You would need:

- TPMS antenna
- Harness
- 4 sensors

You can get these as a kit on Aliexpress, and that would work (I got this exact same kit:)

Then you need to install the antenna in the rear wheelwell/bumper area, and route the cable to the gateway and fusebox.
You would need to do some coding on your Module 19( Gateway), 3 (Brakes), 5F (Infotainment) and 17 (Dashboard) as well, to make it all work and show up.
That's about it :) I can do a more detailed writeup later.

Fantastic cheers, kit ordered! If you do a write-up that'd be amazing, if not I'm sure I'll figure it out... Eventually anyway! ?

The hardest part is connecting to the gateway. There are some nice extension cables that allow you to add your own cables to the gateway in a more easy way.

I'm sad to say that while not today, yesterday i signed the agreement for my new car :(

As much as i love the Cupra, i'm just doing too many miles to justify keeping it. Cost of fuel is creeping up and up and in the 11 months I've had it I've already had to replace the front tyres as well as the rear pads and discs. I had to have one of the front wheels straightened because of a pot hole and now i think the rear tyres are just about ready for replacement, i don't think the fronts are far off again either.

There's also the fact that it's such a little animal and so much fun to drive, it encourages me to drive in a way that most people would consider a little silly

Unfortunately i made the decision to start acting my age (40) and invest in something newer, a LOT more economical, and something that will encourage me to drive like an old man..... I collect my Skoda Octavia PHEV on Monday.

If you're doing that many miles, how come you've gone for a PHEV?
In my mind they only make sense for those short journeys around town where you can rely on fully electric, not for big miles

I'm not doing 30000 miles a year or anything ridiculous but my commute is 22 miles each way so a PHEV is perfect for me, i can charge at home, and for free at the office. Unfortunately the Cupra is now out of warranty, there's no servicing included in my PCP and with me going back to 5 days at work soon (1 day furlough at the mo) it's just going to get even more expensive, i'm already spending £200+ a month on fuel.

Now was a great time to get into something that will cost me next to nothing on my commute but something that also comes with warranty, servicing, and breakdown. I'll be saving £150+ each month before i even take into account the cost of tyres, servicing, extended warranty and breakdown etc. so it just makes sense.

There's no doubt in my mind that i'll miss the Cupra to start off with, it's a brilliant car, i simply can't justify the overall cost anymore.

Gave it a good decontamination wash in the rain, and protected with a hybrid sealant/detailer, also polished up the exhaust tips, then put in the brand new genuine mats I picked up yesterday

I knew it, when I had the 2.0TDI 150, several years ago I knew it was pushing around 160PS, at least that's how it felt. Then after I got a 152PS car (same size category as Leon) and it felt noticeably slower!

My mates stage 1 mondeo 220 bhp and 480 nm struggled to pull away from my leon when stock.
