What do you make of the engine? Never got to try that spec on the test drive but ordered the 190 in the hopes of it being a bit quicker feeling than the 150 and getting the 4 drive system.
Still just bedding in but delivers decent punch when I've pushed a bit harder. My last car was a 3008 180bhp..obviously bigger car but the formentor at 190 certainly seems much more keen to go then that did. Holds the road really well too. I don't think you will be disappointed! I only test drove the 310 but it scared my wife so I had to compromise:)

Hahaha sounds very much like me and my partner :D she was also wanting better fuel economy for the 30,000 miles a year she has to do in it for work so hopefully we can get in the 40 mpgs for it. What’s the fuel economy you’ve found so far (obviously it may get better as it beds in)?

Low 30s driving like I normally would. Yesterday 38mpg but stuck behind traffic all the way to work and back so no chance to open the throttle much. I suspect trying to achieve 40 may be difficult (and not much fun)

I guess it might be a case of persuading my partner to have a very light right foot :D. Also maybe with the majority of her driving being motorway I'm holding out hope we can reach that magic number!

Just had an email from my leasing company asking for mileage for early termination of my current car. Looks like things are moving in the right direction and should have car in a couple of weeks.

My car was a confirmed build week of 32. (9th August) and I was advised to check again in 2 weeks time (today). The ever helpful Ruby on the cupraofficial.co.uk chat has said that although it's in production, it's still not finished yet and to check again in a weeks time. She also mentioned that the next ship would be sailing from Barcelona on 3rd September. I hope to get my car late September/early October.

I'm relatively happy with that seeing as the original delivery date was 30th October.

Just seen this:-

Could explain why my car isn't finished after two weeks in production.

That isn't promising news, although thankfully it says it only stopped production for two days. Fingers crossed they are able to still proceed building.

My car was scheduled for the same October delivery. We have just got confirmation that the car was a week 32 and it is built and scheduled for the 3rd sep ship. They suggested an arrival on the 11th into the uk with deliver a week or two after.

Hopefully mine will be built and on the same ship as yours!

I chatted to customer support yesterday. They confirmed there’s a ship leaving on the 3rd. My car has been built for weeks and is at the port, they said it hasn’t been allocated a place to be on the ship yet and may well not be on it. They said the chip shortage has impacted the number of sailings.

A bit after the event to say this but I was looking in May, saw cars advertised at dealers in Autotrader, contacted one (about an hour away) who didn't have the spec I wanted (VZ2 310 in red) but he arranged a swap with another dealer (and arranged trailer transport) and I got the car...all within a week! And with a reasonable discount. Things may have changed but I'm glad I didn't place a factory order! :)

You did very well there. I did another price up on leasing company site yesterday to gauge price changes, and if I was too order same car again now, it would cost me another £5200 over the course of the lease. That is a huge increase of approx 25% and doubt I would have ordered one at them prices.

I worked mine out to be almost the same at £5024 and that's only over 2 years!! I am happy to pay £284, not £411!

My VZ2 Graphene 310 arrived yesterday - photos going up in a new thread soon!

Leasing Co ordered from factory "sometime around January 2021"
Allocated to me via Leasing Options 22/04/21
Delivered 24/08/21

I'm surprised the leasing company didn't ask them to hold on for a few days to make it a 71 plate, worth more at the end of the lease! Silly Arval!

Anyway - I'm putting a private reg on it so nobody will know it's a 21 plate!
